“ Hadn't been here before. Friend recommended it. Lovely place. Modern look and feel. Ordered of the mini portions set menu. Fantastic value for money. And it didn't affect the quality of the food. Portion size on mini menu was more than adequate. Had chicken Caesar salad, steak pie, and sticky toffee pudding. All were fantastic. Great service, 3 separate waitresses came and ask how we were and if we needed anything. Can't recommend it enough. ”

“ Had my daughters First holy communion celebrations in The steadings and have to say it was absolutely fantastic. Had 23 people attending and all agree that they would come back for any event or just to chill in the pub. The function room is spacious, clean and modern. The food is fantastic and so are the drinks. Can’t thank Lauren, Jade and all of their team enough. It was really easy to book the function room as well with Lauren being really attentive and understanding. Then Jade had regular contact with me to make sure everything is sorted before the event date which I really appreciate. Thank you all again! Definitely will be back soon for more of your roast dinner ”
“ Myself and my partner went for a breakfast. (We never booked) We Immediately felt welcomed by the staff. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Currently, there's a fantastic deal available that includes two breakfasts with coffee/tea or orange juice for 20! The atmosphere was really pleasant. Overall, it's a perfect spot to kickstart the morning or enjoy a relaxed meal with a friend. ”
“ Highly Recommend Massive thank you to Lauren and her team for all their hard work and efforts for my Hen on Saturday 29th March. I had a fantastic night and so did all my guests The food was great (I had a chicken fajita wrap) and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The function room is ideal for private functions aswell, plenty room and very tidy I already had my hen booked at Society but when they closed their doors without telling anyone, I called Lauren in a panic. Lauren went above and beyond to help me get another date booked and provided me with so much help along the way. Can’t thank her enough. Will be back tonight for food and quiz night!! “ Booked a table for me and my fiance for our 4 year anniversary on Saturday and our experience at The Steadings was perfect! We were promptly sat in the lounge near the bar, with all the staff being attentive. Drinks were poured and we decided on our food. It was amazing! I had the Haggis, then the steak pie (which is one of the best steak pies I have had!) And I finished off with the Stick Toffee Pudding! My fiance had the mushrooms, Salmon with noodles then finished with the tart, she absolutely loved the lot! Everything about a busy Saturday night at the Steadings was perfect, we have found our local! Highly recommended to everyone and we will certain be back, for the quiz, a quick pint with our dog and parties in the future! ”

“ This is a gem of a restaurant in Kirkcaldy. The dish in the photo was the Chef’s Special. Perfectly cooked pink beef with a smokey crust, celeriac, shallot, and a rosti oblong topped with pickled celeriac slices. A fabulous mixture of tastes and textures beautifully presented by a chef who cares about his food. And there are plenty other gastropub items on the menu that match this quality. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the general ambience is lovely. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, it’s definitely worth a visit. ”
